- This dog tag necklace for men features a large sterling silver dog tag custom engraved with your baby's actual footprints, name and birth details.
- The dog tag is crafted in solid sterling silver, has a raised-edge design and measures 2 inch x 1 1/8 inch with a polished finish. The ball chain is also crafted in sterling silver and feature solid (not hollow) 2mm beads with a lobster clasp.
- A special etch-engraving technique is used for the footprints resulting in a deep textured fill that reflects light when worn. The back of the dog tag can also be personalized with engraved artwork or text (scroll down for engraving options and instructions).
- This item ships out engraved within 5-7 business days.
- The FRONT will be engraved with your baby's actual footprints (or handprints) and birth details.
- The BACK can be optionally engraved with 1-4 lines of text, handwriting or artwork.

Option 1. Straight Text Layout
- This layout is best for engraving multiple lines of text above and below the footprints.
- Click REQUEST ENGRAVING PROOF and email a photograph of your baby's footprints, and the birth details you want engraved above and below the prints.
- You will receive your proof for review within 24hrs.
- To place your order - under FRONT ENGRAVING, select UPLOAD ENGRAVING PROOF.
Option 2. Curved Text Layout
- This layout is best for engraving a single line of text above and below the footprints.
- Click REQUEST ENGRAVING PROOF and email a photograph of your baby's footprints, and the birth details you want engraved above and below the prints.
- You will receive your proof for review within 24hrs.
- To place your order - under FRONT ENGRAVING, select UPLOAD ENGRAVING PROOF.
Option 1. Text Engraving Only
- Text engraving on the back is optional, and costs an additional $10 per line.
- Engrave from 1 to 4 lines of text with up to 12 characters per line.
- To enter your text - under BACK ENGRAVING selet TEXT and follow the steps and instructions to enter your engraving.
Option 2. Custom Engraving (Artwork + Text)
- Custom engraving on the back is optional, and costs an additional $50.
- Select this option to engrave a lengthy block of text, a handwritten message, or text and artwork together.
- We recommend that you click REQUEST ENGRAVING PROOF and email us your images, artwork and text with a description of your layout so that you can preview your engraving.
- To submit your engraving - under BACK ENGRAVING select UPLOAD ENGRAVING PROOF.
